Class: Error Not Sin
Class summary: Answers two questions from Oratory subscribers. Lisi’s question: Please elaborate on Ch. 19-III.3:5-7 which says: Now you will not repeat it; you will merely stop and let it go, unless the guilt remains. For then you will but change the form of sin, granting that it was an error, but keeping it uncorrectable. This is not really a change in your perception, for it is sin that calls for punishment, not error. “Can you please give me some practical examples of this, and help me understand how the practice of this undoes our guilt? And how do we avoid self-deception in this?” Practical discussion on correcting the mistake, seeing it as a mistake and not a sin, not resisting the correction. What is the most helpful thing to ask of Jesus? ~ Then Gabrielius’ question: “What is the right-minded way to cope with fear?” ~ An example of one way we can “give the day” to the Holy Spirit. Sharing parts of my personal process, including an impactful trip to Temecula, and interaction with Ken. Experiencing the truth of what we read in ACIM. And various “Mountain Musings” including revisiting G.I. Joe and his kung-fu grip.

For each class on which Bonnie has performed we are going back and adding the title and composer of each piece to the class summary.
If you would like to hear the entire performance: Please note that after Bonnie records a piece she uses a short excerpt as the intro to class, and the entire recording is placed at the end of class.

Thanks Gabrielius. I’m preparing for the next class, and will add your questions to the class.
P.S. Is the “a” in your name pronounced as in “day” or as in “drab”? I’m guessing “day” because it’s a form of Gabriel?

Gabrielius: Bonnie is now telling me she thinks it is pronounced gaw bri ELL us.
I’m soon going to call you on the phone. (Of course I won’t know who to ask for.) :)

OK, Gabrielius kindly called me on Skype from Lithuania to help us (me) with his name. We actually laughed our heads off for about an hour about a bunch of stuff, including my attempts to pronounce his name.
With his permission, here are three short clips strung together of him teaching me to pronounce his name.
