One Hour Classes
I wanted to post a little note on the main page to let everyone know my classes are now one-hour-long.
Several people have said five classes a month can be difficult to keep up with, especially when they are 1.5+ hours long. And that they need to find a free evening to listen to them, whereas it’s much easier to find an hour, and easier to listen to a class twice when it’s shorter.
Thank you to everyone for all your kind whispers in the class summary posts.

Sad crying! Jamie stole my one hour of his wonderful class! Who will save me now, huh? :D
Ok, I was a bit disappointed by it. I can find those 2 hours per week… and sometimes even more, it is because I listen to the classes when I work! And no, I do my job OK and I still learn from classes, hehe ;)
However, I think it is always a choice. You can always sleep less, save some time from routine tasks, etc. It is ALWAYS possible to find time, if you WANT to :)
Cheers,
Gabrielius

Dear Jamie,
Like Gabrielius, I too am disappointed. I have never heard any of your classes that I felt were too long. Both your content and delivery are consistently compelling, inspiring, and loving. In any case, I never listen to a class in one sitting; I find my learning is deepened if I pause the class for reflection after a high-impact part.
I hope you allow yourself to go over “one hour” when appropriate. In my opinion, during some classes it has taken you a while to get into your rhythm. (This is not criticism, as it is a natural occurrence in teaching). It may be that a one hour format is limiting rather than liberating.

I was thinking that many of the longer classes were held when there were several people present and so a lot of time was taken up with listening to the participants ask their questions or make a comment and then have it all repeated into the mic so we could know what was going on.
If Jamie is just teaching by himself or with just Bonnie present, then all that extra time is not needed. And an hour suddenly becomes jam packed with pure teaching.
I’m excited to be getting an hour solid of non-stop, uninterrupted, flowing right mindedness.
And for me, an hour is much less intimidating to find the time for.
Barry, I agree with you about the rhythm thing, but I have to say that lately I feel that Jamie just rolling right from the start.
IMHO, of course. : )

I believe I’m going to really enjoy the one-hour format. By the time I get to the end of a two-hour class, I can only vaguely recall what the first half of class was about… Personally, I can extend my listening time easily to two hours by repeating the class, thereby getting much more out of each class. Formerly, repeating a class took several hours.
Like Lisa said, we will not be hearing the questions from the audience, with Jamie then repeating the question to us. This will save lots of time. And the classes won’t be cut in half. Since they were normally 1:30-1:45 they will only be 30-45 minutes shorter.
I can live with that, and I trust Jamie to know what’s the best format for classes and look forward to same content / less time.
All my Love,
Mother

Oh yes, something inside me felt relieved when I hear about classes becoming one hour now. I think that the time will be shortened, and the quality will NOT be shortened :-) I am certain that the topics will be just as perfect touched upon as before.

I agree with ALL of the above ;-) Can you tell I like the middle ground?
Actually, I think I like the shortened classes better also. I never listen all the way through, but somehow think I should. The prospect of that sometimes felt overwhelming.
I really wish we could do the classes as we used to. They were fun…well, sometimes.
Hugs all around,
