A Course in Miracles Monk

As part of our 2010 Community Works project, the Monastery of the Mists is supporting the Gampo Abbey three-year retreat scholarship program.

The “post picture” to the left is the Sopa Chöling Long Term Retreat Center overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Gampo Abbey is a Western Buddhist monastery in the Shambhala tradition located in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada where I was born. This is one of the monasteries I was looking into joining before I met and married Bonnie in 2002.
