The Truth Is Not Out There
We are not asked to forgive people “out there”, love people “out there”, or do things “out there”. How we experience people “out there” is only useful to lead us back within to what we must forgive in our minds.
The same goes for “joining”, a concept oft misunderstood by course students: Jesus is not asking us to join with people “out there”. This is not a course in external joining. “Minds are joined, bodies are not” (T-18.VI.3:1).
Jesus is saying join with my love, and inherent in that joining is everyone and everything.
