You’re right, of course. I love Pomeranians, had one once that I adored. Red sable tipped like the one in the picture.
But you’ll never catch me admitting that in a room full of CATS!!!

I think Dreamy should consider nudging Little Crumb to join the security department. She’s got the presence to stare down a tarantula! What a formidable gaze! And what majestic bearing. A wonderful shot.

Personally, it’s Piper I wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley without a catnip offering. (Or a big dog.) That may be a ‘cute yawn’, but I don’t want to go checking it out for sure without reinforcement. {hee hee} Beautiful cat, by the way Susan. It’s amazing you were able to catch that shot at just the right moment.
Oh shxtster, they’re all so beautiful!! My favorite is still The Spy. Hopefully nobody will hold that against me, being a largely cat-loving crew around here. I’ve had many cats, my favorite was Myth-Ster Kitty (said like you’re lisping). Alas, I am totally pet-less right now, unless you count DH. I enjoy coming to this room and borrowing everybody else’s cats, Thank you!!

Debbie and others, I just got a shih tzu puppy (Maggy)and she is 5 months old now. My 8 year old daughter is an only child so we thought she would enjoy having a doggie (OK, we gave in after 2 years of her begging for a puppy). I thought Maggie would be too much more “work”. I’ve NEVER had a dog, only cats this whole lifetime. Instead, now I know what all the fuss is about dogs. We are all now in love with our little teddy bear in the house.

I showed my 5 year old niece (and great pal) the adorable photo of Dreamy and the foxes a little while back, and she loved it. Then the other day she asked me about Dreamy but got his name wrong and called him “Sleepy”, it was very cute : )

Nick…the cat video is hilarious! I love it! Did you shoot the video? You have some real skill with that. Liked the way it pans at the beginning. What fun…the barely-misses. Maybe this should go in the Security gallery? I agree, we should recruit this cat.

I am writing to report Dreamy
likesloves “green drink”. He lapped up every last drop we gave him.The ingredients for this morning’s green drink: Pineapple, banana, spinach, yogurt, blueberries, rice milk and almonds.
I was tempted to take a picture but his eyes said “please let me finish my green drink in peace.” His eyes speak, I listen. That’s how it works.
He now has shown a yen for edamame, avocados, and green drink. What the.. ?

Monk, Dreamy’s diet sounds really Zen to me… but I can’t seem to find where eating a headset would play into it….
Is this food available for take-out? I would love to have this ‘green drink’ every morning too.
I think it would be the perfect morning-after for all the Grotto happenings and cigars…
Maybe you could consider adopting? Me?

Lama Dreamsicle- you are always teaching, aren’t you? I looked up the meaning of the color green (OK, so it’s way woo. Just roll with it!) And Olive green (to me all of your green loves are that color, or close) is the traditional color of peace.

Dreamy has been on my mind since yesterday…… are you sure it`s ok for him to eat avocados? Recently I have heard they are not good for animals although i live on an avocado farm and the various doggies who have lived here used to love to eat them…..didnt seem to hurt them…..anyways love and gentle hugs to Dreamy

Thanks for the tip, Winnie. I looked it up and this is what it said for cats:
All parts of the avocado contain a toxin known as persin. It causes gastrointestinal irritation, vomiting, diarrhoea, respiratory distress, congestion, fluid accumulation around the tissues of the heart and even death. Cats may be attracted to the oily texture, but should not be fed avocado pieces (in salads) or avocado dips.
