My heart is singing for you both!
Two fundamental priciples that have drivin almost 33 years of marriage for us are:
“Space is no separator of hearts.” [We've reminded eachother of this many times!]
AND
“Home is the center, not the boundary of the affections.”
May your home be the center for your continued growth in the Course and the many blessings you each bring to the world (even if it is an illusion!)
Much love to you both!

The Way — Unknown origin
The way is long — let us go together
The way is difficult — let us help each other
The way is joyful — let us share it
The way is ours alone — let us go in love
The way grows before us — let us begin

Ahem… which side of the aisle shall I sit? Did someone get a tuxedo for Dreamy? Is there plenty of gas in the get-away car? Is the punch spiked? Worse, is it NOT? So many questions… so little time…

January 11th, 2010 at 8:00 pm
Does this make it into the record book as one of the shortest divorces thats ever been? (Said with big smile and warmest regards.)
January 11th, 2010 at 8:02 pm
Well, you go out for a few hours in the afternoon and the next thing you know Bonnie and Jamie are getting married!!!!!
Wow!!! It’s really, really nice!!!
May the rest of your lives be spent together in quiet and peace.
And a few words from A.A. Milne
Us Two
Wherever I am, there’s always Pooh,
There’s always Pooh and Me.
Whatever I do, he wants to do,
“Where are you going today?” says Pooh:
“Well, that’s very odd ‘cos I was too.
Let’s go together,” says Pooh, says he.
“Let’s go together,” says Pooh.
“What’s twice eleven?” I said to Pooh.
(”Twice what?” said Pooh to Me.)
“I think it ought to be twenty-two.”
“Just what I think myself,” said Pooh.
“It wasn’t an easy sum to do,
But that’s what it is,” said Pooh, said he.
“That’s what it is,” said Pooh.
“Let’s look for dragons,” I said to Pooh.
“Yes, let’s,” said Pooh to Me.
We crossed the river and found a few-
“Yes, those are dragons all right,” said Pooh.
“As soon as I saw their beaks I knew.
That’s what they are,” said Pooh, said he.
“That’s what they are,” said Pooh.
“Let’s frighten the dragons,” I said to Pooh.
“That’s right,” said Pooh to Me.
“I’m not afraid,” I said to Pooh,
And I held his paw and I shouted “Shoo!
Silly old dragons!”- and off they flew.
“I wasn’t afraid,” said Pooh, said he,
“I’m never afraid with you.”
So wherever I am, there’s always Pooh,
There’s always Pooh and Me.
“What would I do?” I said to Pooh,
“If it wasn’t for you,” and Pooh said: “True,
It isn’t much fun for One, but Two,
Can stick together, says Pooh, says he. “That’s how it is,” says Pooh.

For Bonnie and Jamie….
January 11th, 2010 at 8:14 pm
From “The Prophet” by Kahlil Gibran
Then Almitra spoke again and said, And what of Marriage, master?
And he answered saying:
You were born together, and together you shall be forevermore.
You shall be together when the white wings of death scatter your days.
Ay, you shall be together even in the silent memory of God.
But let there be spaces in your togetherness,
And let the winds of the heavens dance between you.
Love one another, but make not a bond of love:
Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.
Fill each other’s cup but drink not from one cup.
Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf.
Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone,
Even as the strings of alute are alone though they quiver with the same music.
Give your hearts, but not into each other’s keeping.
For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts.
And stand together yet not too near together:
For the pillars of the temple stand apart,
And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.

I’m so happy this day has come. Call me prescient, but I’ve known this was coming since the first time J.Monk said in class that Bon had made a decision, and a chill went down my spine. But then, I’ve been along this same road. Nothing makes a good solid marriage like a trial divorce, helps pull the truth out of the cracks in the wall. And as we know, the only truth is Love. Bonnie, I think you are a wise woman, and Jamie, you are one blessed Monk!

Jamie, Bonnie,I leave you with an old Irish blessing.
May God grant you many years to live,
For sure He must be knowing
The earth has angels all too few
And heaven is overflowing
God bless you both

What a wonderful joyful YES-surprise! you’all have been celebrating for a long time now. the time here is 7:44pm january 12th, so I am late in my congratulations – but I offer them with a full heart – and maybe this re-wedding was part of me spending many hours with Jesus this morning and afternoon in deep bliss and silence- I just felt a deep deep peace, like some parts had reunited inside – and then I come here and see that you two really have reunited, with a new commitment to each other. God bless you darlings, may you find what you deepest yearn for.
All my love
Nina
